Our dedicated team of pastors, ministry leaders, and support staff are committed to serving the needs of our congregation and community. Dr. Drew Hines is our Interim Pastor. A graduate of the University of South Carolina and Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, Hines has been a pastor for over 42 years, serving five churches. In addition to Washington Baptist, where he served from June 2001 until February 2022, his South Carolina pastorates have included Ebenezer Welcome in Landrum, Pleasant Grove in Greer, and Andrews First. He formerly was director of missions for Moriah Baptist Association and director of pastoral ministries for the South Carolina Baptist Convention.
Brian Collins currently serves as the College and Children’s Pastor at Eastside Baptist Church. He graduated from USC with a BA in Marketing and Management, and he has a Masters in Apologetics from Biola University. Brian has published, Truth, a book focusing on absolute truth you can depend on no matter the circumstance.
Daniel came to us from Florida, joining the EBC staff in March 2019. He is a graduate from Trinity Baptist College with a BA in Pastoral Theology in 2009. It was there that he would meet his wife, Kim. They have three beautiful girls (and expecting a fourth - this one is a boy!): Jordyn, Addisyn, and Eleanor. Daniel enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, golf, sports and proudly proclaims, “It’s great to be a Florida Gator!” Daniel is currently pursuing his Master’s Degree through Liberty University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
Sean came to Eastside in 2020 as a member and began as an intern in August 2021. He came on staff as Connections Pastor in March 2022 with the goal of growing people through discipleship and growing community by connecting people in service and love.
Sean has a degree in Biblical and Theological Studies from Boyce College at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has been married to his beautiful wife for over 30 years and has three children.
Landon was brought on staff at Eastside in July of 2021. He is a native of Spartanburg and is a 2023 graduate from Broome High School. Landon was saved at a young age and felt the call to ministry at the end of his 7th grade year.
Since, he has been able to serve and lead school level FCA huddles, Bible Studies, and Co-Leads a ministry called Exalt.
As the Pastoral Intern, Landon does a variety of things from usual pastoral duties, to behind the scenes work. He is involved with Eastside Student Ministry along with the Media Ministry here at Eastside as well.
Landon currently attends North Greenville University to achieve a BA in Christian Studies to further his calling to Pastor. In his free time, Landon loves to spend time with his family and friends, play golf, drum, read, and eat some good food!
Crystal came to Eastside in November 2017. She is originally from Union, SC, where she served as an administrative assistant in ministry for over 10 years. Before serving on staff in ministry she worked in the banking industry for several years. She now lives in Jonesville with her husband Robby. She loves being involved in missions, women’s ministry and spending time with family, but her greatest calling now is being the proud “Grammy” to 4 precious grandchildren.
